Michael Tilford

Mike Tilford is a real estate development and investment acquisition professional with an extensive background in brownfield reclamation, mixed use development and urban infill projects. Prior to joining Aspinwall, Mike managed the $25 million entitlement and land development of the 151 acre, mixed use Riverstone Development in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho as well as over $20 million of related acquisitions and dispositions. As a Development Manager, his responsibilities included managing engineering and architecture consultants, proforma modeling and presenting entitlement requests to city councils and zoning boards.

Mike has a Bachelors of Arts in History (BA History) from Gonzaga University, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston University and a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mike was a Finance Research Assistant at Boston University focused on financing sustainable capital improvements in multifamily buildings. He is currently a Teaching Assistant at the MIT Center for Real Estate. Mike has published articles on real estate finance and marketing and enjoys volunteering his time at area high schools for the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Urban Plan program.
